Being trained by a yard with that kind of momentum means Pisiffik Ginger is at least in the right hands to improve.

A fourth-place finish on debut is no cause for alarm. Many horses need a run or two simply to understand what racing is — the noise, the pace, the company. The real question is what comes next. With an active campaign ahead and a productive yard behind it, there is plenty of time for Pisiffik Ginger to make its mark.
