The win came at Great Yarmouth on 20 May, three months ago now, and it remains Peaceful Warrior's only success to date. Great Yarmouth is a track that can suit particular types of runners, and a maiden winner there is worth noting — the horse clearly has the ability to get the job done. It has also placed once in those three races, meaning it has been in the money in two of three attempts, which is not nothing for a young horse still learning the game.

Kevin Ryan's Hambleton yard is in excellent form this season, with 45 winners already under their belt, so Peaceful Warrior is part of a stable where horses are being trained competently. The horse raced just a day ago, meaning it is actively campaigned and sees plenty of action. Whether recent form represents a blip after three months away, or whether Peaceful Warrior will emerge as a genuine prospect, the next race or two should clarify matters.
