What we do know is the breeding. Overpass is by Vancouver, a sprinting sire known for speed, out of a mare by Exceed And Excel — another influence associated with quick, sharp horses. On paper, that suggests a horse built for shorter, faster races rather than long-distance slogs. But pedigree is a starting point, not a guarantee, and until Overpass actually runs, it remains just a theory.
The debut is the only story here for now. Everything else begins on race day.
