Onlytheriverknows is a 4-year-old still searching for that first moment in the winner's circle. With one race under its belt and a ninth-place finish just a day ago, this horse has yet to break through, but the fact that it was back out competing so quickly suggests the team believes there is more to come. One outing is far too small a sample to draw any real conclusions — plenty of horses need time to find their feet — but Onlytheriverknows will need to show improvement next time out to prove it belongs in competitive company.
