To put that in context, most trainers spend an entire career without hitting that kind of tally in a single year. When a yard is firing at that rate, it tends to mean horses are well-placed, well-prepared, and given every chance — so the fact that Nirisque hasn't won yet is unlikely to be down to neglect or mismanagement.

For now, the profile is short because the story is still being written. Three races is a very small sample, and plenty of horses take time to find their feet. Being placed second in one of those runs suggests there is ability in there somewhere. Whether Nirisque can turn that promise into a win with one of racing's sharpest yards behind it is the question worth watching.
