With only two races to go on, it is genuinely too early to draw firm conclusions. Some horses take time to find their feet, and racing twice is barely enough to establish a pattern. What is worth noting is that Mydreamtell ran just one day ago, so it is right in the thick of an active campaign. Whether yesterday's run showed any signs of improvement is the question those at the yard will be asking.

The trainer, James Andrew Fahey, operates out of Stradbally in County Laois and has sent out five winners already this season, which suggests a yard that knows how to get horses competitive. The fact that Mydreamtell has yet to trouble the judge is not necessarily a reflection on the team around it — some horses simply need more time, more experience, or the right opportunity to click. The next few races will matter a great deal in working out which category this one falls into.
