The yard itself has been in good form this season with 24 winners, so the horse is in capable hands. Still, it has yet to develop into a reliable performer. At three years old, there is time for that to change, but the current profile is one of a horse that can have good days—as Roscommon proved—without yet showing the kind of improvement curve that suggests something special is coming. For now, Mo Anam Chara remains a work in progress.
