What makes this worth watching is simply that she raced just yesterday, so the story is very much still being written. Young horses can take time to find their feet, and four races is a small sample. But the trend is not obviously improving, and back-to-back last-place finishes suggest she is currently finding things tough at whatever level she is competing. The team will need to find the right opportunity to get the best out of her, whether that means dropping into easier company, switching tracks, or simply giving her more time to develop. At three, she has that time — but the clock is ticking on her first season, and results so far give her supporters little to cheer.
