Channon has spoken openly about targeting black type races — the prestigious, named events that sit near the top of the sport's pecking order — and she's apparently rated 92, a mark that places her in serious company. The plan is the Listed Lansdown Stakes at Bath, then a campaign at that top level throughout the summer. Channon has also floated the idea of the Nunthorpe Stakes, one of Britain's most celebrated sprint races, and his reasoning is blunt: she's already beaten a Group race winner this year in a Listed race, and the five-furlong division looks wide open. That's not idle talk.
