Minella Jury

Minella Jury has run eight times in total, winning twice and finishing in the top three on five occasions — a win rate of 25%, or roughly one in every four races. That is a solid return, and the recent uptick in form makes it look even better. The sequence reads: three unplaced runs, then third, then two wins on the bounce. In other words, whatever was going wrong earlier in that run, the team at Naunton appear to have worked it out. The first win came at Wexford in late October 2025, and the second at Uttoxeter in December — two very different tracks, which suggests this is not a horse that only operates under one specific set of circumstances.

At Class 4, which is a solid mid-tier level of racing, Minella Jury has won once from three attempts — a rate of 33%, or one in three. That is an encouraging return at that grade and hints that there may be more to come if the yard decide to test the horse at a higher level.

The Twiston-Davies yard is having a productive season by any measure — 61 winners so far tells you this is an operation that knows how to get horses to the track in good shape and with a plan. The fact that Minella Jury raced just one day ago and is currently active suggests the team are happy with how the horse is going and keen to keep the momentum rolling. Two wins in eight races, a horse in form, and a yard firing on all cylinders — there are worse situations to be in heading into the second half of the season.
