Her father is Bathyrhon, and her mother is by Shamardal, a stallion who produced horses capable of competing at the very highest level in Europe. She is trained by Eoin Griffin, who operates out of Slieverue in County Kilkenny. The yard has hit the ground running this season with 8 winners already, which tells you this is not a small operation making up the numbers. Griffin clearly knows how to have a horse ready to run, and sending out a first-time runner is always a statement of sorts — you only get one debut.
