Manntari is still hunting for a breakthrough. The 3-year-old has raced twice without winning or placing, finishing eighth most recently and seventh before that. E McNamara, based at Rathkeale in County Limerick, has had a solid season with 22 winners already, so there is clearly experience in the yard. Whether Manntari clicks into gear soon remains to be seen, but the pattern of quick successive races hints that McNamara thinks a win is not far away.
