Magma King is a two-year-old still finding his feet on the track. The horse has run twice so far without a win or a place finish, most recently finishing fifth just a day ago after running seventh on his previous outing. He is trained by
Jack W Davison at Dunboyne in County Meath, a yard that has already sent out eight winners this season — a sign that Davison knows how to get the best from his horses, even if this particular youngster hasn't clicked yet. With such limited racing experience and no results on the board, there is little to judge Magma King on except that he is still very much a work in progress, the kind of young horse who may need time to develop before showing what he can do.
