The honest part of the picture is that he has not won in his last six races, with recent finishes of second, ninth, eighth, sixth, and third. He raced just yesterday, so he is very much in active service — but that winning feeling has not come since April last year. At six years old he knows his job, the yard is in good form, and he clearly retains ability. The question is simply whether the right conditions come together quickly enough to end that run.
