His record tells a solid story. Three wins and eight places from 15 races — that is a 20% win rate, or roughly one win in every five races — makes him a consistent performer at his level, rather than a horse who flatters only to disappoint. He does most of his best work in Class 4 races, which sit comfortably in the middle tier of British racing, and at that level he has won 2 from 6, meaning he converts at 33%, or one in every three attempts. For a horse competing regularly at that grade, that is a genuinely good return.

His most recent win came at Fontwell Park on 16 November 2025, his first outing of last season. Joint-trainer Philip Hobbs was quick to flag what observers had spotted: the horse jumped particularly well that day and seems to be a horse who benefits from freshness. Hobbs noted after the race that he had done the same thing the season before — won on his first start — which is the kind of pattern that makes a trainer sit up and take notice. It is not a coincidence if it happens twice.

Since that Fontwell win the form has tailed off a little — a third, a fourth, a sixth, and a second in his last four outings — but that is not unusual for a horse whose engine runs hottest when everything is new. Raced just one day ago, he remains an active and competitive eight-year-old in a yard that has sent out 37 winners already this season, which shows Philip Hobbs and Johnson White's operation is very much in good form. His regular jockey Micheal Nolan has partnered him seven times for one win together, though the horse clearly saves something for those fresh, first-run-of-the-season days that no amount of familiarity can quite replicate.
