Little Big John

The most recent run, just yesterday, ended without a finish — the dash in the form record indicates he didn't complete the race, whether through a fall, unseating his rider, or being pulled up. That's never easy to take for any team, but one incomplete run from two attempts is far too small a sample to draw any real conclusions. Horses often take time to find their feet, and a single placed finish at least shows there's something there to work with.

With only two races to his name, Little Big John is still very much an unknown quantity. What happens in the next few outings will tell the yard — the trainer and their team — far more about what kind of horse they actually have on their hands.
