Line Em Up

There is something quietly compelling about a horse that steps into competition for the first time and gets the job done. No learning curve, no near misses, just a clean victory at Hexham, a tight and testing track in Northumberland that rewards horses who are ready from the off. Whether this was a carefully prepared debut or the start of something bigger remains to be seen, but the team clearly had Line Em Up primed and ready.

Having raced only yesterday, this is a story very much still being written. The interesting question now is where the yard takes a horse that has answered every question asked of it so far — and whether that winning habit carries over when the competition steps up.
