Lindoro

At four years old, time is not yet against it, but the clock is ticking. Most horses at this stage have at least hinted at what they might become, and Lindoro hasn't offered much to get excited about so far. Three races is still a small sample, and yards do occasionally stumble upon the right race for a horse that has looked lost in its early outings — but it would take a significant step forward from what we have seen.

Trainer Stephen Hanlon operates out of Constable Burton in North Yorkshire and has sent out three winners this season, so the yard is clearly capable of getting horses to perform. Whether Lindoro can join that tally remains to be seen. It raced just yesterday, so the yard — the team, rather — are clearly keeping it busy and looking for an opening. Sometimes that persistence pays off. So far, it hasn't.
