The recent form tells a familiar story for a young horse still learning the game: a ninth, another ninth, a sixth, an eighth, and a fifth. There is nothing here yet that suggests a breakthrough is imminent, but the horse is being kept busy by trainer David Marnane at Bansha in County Tipperary, a yard that has sent out 21 winners already this season. That level of activity and success in the yard suggests Marnane is doing something right with his other horses, at least. For Lilbittyprettyone, the challenge is clear: it needs to deliver its first win soon, or questions will start to be asked about whether this horse has the ability to compete at whatever level Marnane is pitching it at.
