Level Up

Most of Level Up's racing life has been spent at Class 5, the bread-and-butter level where consistent, tough horses earn their keep. Of those 51 Class 5 races, it has won 8, which works out at roughly 1 in every 6 — a solid return at a level it clearly suits. The career started with a first win at Wolverhampton in December 2022, and the horse has kept adding to its tally since, most recently landing a race at Chelmsford back in October 2025. That was seven months ago now, and Level Up hasn't won in the six races since — though three seconds in that run suggests it hasn't gone off the boil, just waiting for things to click.

One track where things do tend to click is Great Yarmouth. Two wins from just three visits there is a remarkable record — most horses need many more chances to find a course that suits them that well. It is the kind of stat that makes a trip to the seaside track feel like a worthwhile appointment in the diary.

Ground conditions appear to matter, too. On fast, dry ground Level Up has won 3 of 9 races — roughly 1 in 3 — and on slightly softer conditions it has managed 2 from 7, also close to 1 in 3. What that tells you is this horse is not a one-trick pony in terms of conditions; it handles a range of surfaces and actually performs better away from extremes.

Jordan Williams has ridden Level Up more than anyone else, partnering the horse 13 times for 3 wins — a win rate of 23%, or nearly 1 in 4, which is comfortably above the horse's overall average. That combination is worth noting. David Evans has had a productive season with 37 winners sent out from the yard, and with Level Up racing as recently as yesterday and showing consistent placing form, there is every reason to think win number 13 is not far away.
