Gordon Elliott's yard at Longwood in County Meath is one of the most powerful operations in jump racing, and this season alone the team has sent out 210 winners — a number that reflects a genuine production line of talented horses rather than just a large string. Elliott doesn't tend to persist with horses that have no future, which means Lenko is presumably showing something at home that the racecourse hasn't yet allowed it to express.

Lenko raced just yesterday, so the team is clearly keeping it busy. Whether that means they're searching for the right race or quietly building experience in a horse they believe in is hard to say — but a yard that wins at this volume doesn't waste entries on horses it has given up on.
