In its last four races, Lean d'Aislingean has shown real improvement. After finishing well back in 13th place, it bounced back immediately to grab second, then third, and most recently 13th again just a day ago. That second-place finish is the key — it proves the horse has the ability to run competitively at whatever level it is being entered in, and consistency in running in the frame suggests the trainer has a clear plan. The two places from four races mean it is regularly competitive without yet finding the edge needed to win. For a young horse still learning the game, that is not discouraging. Many horses take several runs before they click, and Lean d'Aislingean is still very much at an age where improvement is normal.
With racing continuing regularly and the horse still active, there is plenty of opportunity ahead. If it can maintain that form and string together some more placings, a maiden win could well be coming soon.
