Kind Touch

The recent form tells a story of a horse that runs well often enough but rarely finishes the job. In the last six outings, Kind Touch has come second twice, fourth once, third once, seventh once, and won once — just enough consistency to suggest the horse turns up ready to race but not enough to spark real momentum. The fact that the win came 12 months ago at Ripon, and that Kind Touch has been raced regularly since, means the yard is still searching for that next victory. Richard and Peter Fahey's operation at Musley Bank has sent out 23 winners this season, so the training is solid. What Kind Touch needs now is to find the right race and the right conditions to add to that tally — racing actively still counts for something, and at three years old there is time yet.
