Take her off the wet, clinging ground and she is a different animal. Her record on soft ground reads two wins from three races — 67%, or 2 in every 3 — which effectively means she is almost unbeatable when conditions suit.

The next big target on the horizon is the Mares' Chase at Cheltenham, one of the top Grade 1 races in Britain and Ireland. Elliott has mentioned it as a live possibility, while being careful not to rush her. She raced just yesterday, so she is very much in the thick of her season right now. Whether Cheltenham comes before a short break or after, this is a horse that has earned her moment in the spotlight.
