Kaboom

Kaboom is a two-year-old trained by Richard Hannon at his Herridge yard in Wiltshire, and the horse is still finding its feet. It has run once so far, finishing sixth, and is still searching for that first win. Hannon's yard is in serious form this season with 118 winners already, so there is clear experience and resource behind the horse's development. Given that Kaboom is only early in its racing career, a single unplaced run counts for very little — most young horses take time to settle into racing, and a sixth-place finish on debut is hardly a disaster worth dwelling on. The real test will come over the next few races as the horse gains experience and finds the right level.
