Jlow races predominantly at Class 5 level, which is roughly the entry-level tier of British racing — the kind of races designed for horses that are still finding their feet or simply operating below the top end of the sport. Going 0 from 6 at that level is a tough stat to look past. If a horse can't win at the easiest level available, it raises genuine questions about whether a first win is coming at all. Ryan Potter, who trains Jlow from a small yard in Sellack in Herefordshire, has sent out six winners this season, so the stable clearly knows how to get a horse to win — Jlow just hasn't been one of them yet.

That said, Jlow raced just yesterday, which means this is a horse that is still very much active and in the mix. There is always a chance the profile looks very different this time next week. Racehorses can surprise you, and every horse that has ever won a race once had a losing streak too. Whether Jlow has that breakthrough in it remains the big open question.
