She only got her chasing career underway recently, but she made an instant impression, winning at Sligo in October 2025. That win was enough to convince her trainer W P Mullins that there is more to come. Mullins, based at Muine Bheag in Co Carlow, is one of the most powerful operations in Irish racing — his yard has sent out 230 winners already this season alone, so when he says a horse has options and can progress, it carries genuine weight. He has specifically pointed Jalila Moriviere towards mares' chases, a route that tends to suit horses who are solid and consistent rather than flashy, and that description fits her well.
What is slightly curious is the partnership with regular jockey Simon Torrens. The two have teamed up five times and are still waiting for a win together — and yet the yard clearly keeps coming back to that combination, which suggests confidence in what they are building rather than frustration at the results so far. She raced just yesterday and remains very much in active campaigning, so that first win together may not be far away. Her recent form reads 2-–-3-3-1-3, which tells the story neatly: she is placing regularly, she did win, and she is being kept busy. For a horse trained in one of racing's most ambitious yards, being kept busy means you are still firmly in the plans.
