Paul Hennessy's yard has sent out five winners already this season, and given that Jacovec Cavern just added to that tally at Punchestown, the horse is clearly a working part of a yard in decent nick.
What makes this horse worth watching is the timing. A win this week, two from the last six, and a preference for a specific distance range — that is the profile of a horse in form, not one drifting along on reputation. Whether that continues is another matter, but right now Jacovec Cavern is one of the more interesting names coming out of the Hennessy yard.
