Look at the last six runs and you see a horse who has been knocking on the door for a while: second, third, fourth, then the breakthrough win at Ffos Las on 30 January 2026, followed by a fall or unseated rider, and then sixth most recently. The win itself came just three months ago, and Jaccours raced again only yesterday, which tells you this is a horse who is out there regularly, competing, being tested. Ffos Las is a tight, turning track on the Welsh coast that suits certain horses very specifically — and Jaccours clearly has a liking for the place, having finally broken through there after a long wait.

The partnership with Sean Bowen is worth noting. Bowen is one of the most sought-after jump jockeys in Britain, and he has ridden Jaccours in six of the nine races, winning once — that is 1 from 6, or about 1 in every 6 rides together. It is not a dominant record, but the fact that a jockey of Bowen's calibre keeps coming back to the horse suggests there is something there worth persisting with. Trainer Olly Murphy operates out of Wilmcote in Warwickshire, and his yard has sent out 146 winners already this season — a serious operation that knows how to place a horse to give it the best chance.

Jaccours typically races at Class 4 level, which sits in the middle of the British racing ladder — solid, competitive races without being the sport's highest tier. At that level, winning 1 from 6 races, or 17% of the time, is actually a respectable conversion rate. The picture that emerges is of a horse who has finally found his feet, with a yard experienced enough to keep finding the right opportunities, and a jockey patient enough to keep riding him.
