That is a meaningfully different picture from the overall career numbers, and it suggests the horse does have something to offer when the conditions line up. Outside that distance range, the record is considerably bleaker. The trainer has also flagged that Ivynator really struggles on fast, dry ground — a previous run at Nottingham on quick ground was written off entirely, with the trainer pointing to the conditions and a tricky draw as reasons to ignore what happened that day.
