Individualism

The horse loves a mile and three to a mile and four furlongs—distances where it has won 1 of 4 races, a respectable 25 percent win rate. More tellingly, Individualism's two wins have come on normal, everyday ground rather than in the mud or the firm, which accounts for 18 percent of its races at those distances. Its last victory came at Hamilton Park on 17 July 2025, nearly a year ago now, and since then it has failed to win in six straight outings—finishing second once but mostly trailing home in mid-field. Still, the horse raced just yesterday, so it remains active and apparently sound.

Joe Fanning rides Individualism more often than anyone else, and their partnership has yielded 2 wins from 16 races together—a 12 percent return. Trainer E McNamara, based at Rathkeale in County Limerick, has built a productive yard this season with 22 winners already sent out, so there is clearly competence in the camp. At Class 4 level—where Individualism typically competes—the horse has won 1 of 9 races, which tells you it is playing at roughly the right grade. Individualism will likely continue bobbing along at this level, waiting for the right race on the right ground, where its preference for middle distances might just click into place one more time.
