The recent run of results makes for difficult reading. Finishing positions of 10, 6, 3, 8, 10, and 6 across the last six races show a horse that occasionally gets into the conversation — that third-place finish hints at ability — but more often than not gets swallowed up by the field. The yard, run by P Charalambous and J Clutterbuck out of Newmarket, has managed just one winner in the yard this season, so this is a team still working to find its footing rather than one firing on all cylinders.
What is notable is that Inclusive has raced three times at Class 6 level — effectively the entry-level tier of British racing, where horses go to find a race they can win — and has still come away empty-handed each time. That is not a catastrophic signal, but it does suggest that breaking through will require things to click in a way they simply have not yet. Raced just one day ago, Inclusive is at least a horse being kept busy, and sometimes horses at this stage of their career just need one good day when everything falls right. Whether that day is coming soon is the question the Newmarket yard will be hoping to answer.
