I See Fog

Trained by Sean Joseph Allen out of Fermoy in County Cork, I See Fog raced as recently as yesterday, so whatever comes next is not far away. Allen's yard has sent out four winners this season, which suggests there is ability being produced from the stable — just not, so far, from this particular horse.

At eight years old, I See Fog is not young, and with no wins from five attempts, patience is clearly part of the approach here. Whether a first victory is still within reach is the open question, but the recent form — finishing ninth and eleventh in consecutive races — does not make the case easy to argue. Sometimes a horse finds its moment late; sometimes the results simply reflect the level. For now, I See Fog sits firmly in the second camp.
