Howzatt

Howzatt is a two-year-old with just one race under its belt, finishing fourth in its debut a day ago. It is trained by James Owen at Newmarket, a trainer who has already sent out 205 winners this season — a mark of real strength in his yard. For a horse this young and early in its racing life, a single fourth-place finish tells us very little. Plenty of racehorses need time to learn what racing is about, and a debut run is simply the first step on what might be a long journey. With Owen's record this season, Howzatt has every chance to improve sharply once it gains more experience on the track.
