Howd'yadoit

The career started to take shape at Down Royal in July 2025, where Howd'yadoit picked up that first win. Since then, the horse has kept on delivering, landing another victory at Navan just this week — a sign that form is very much on the up rather than flattening out. Of the last 6 races, 2 have been wins, with a couple of fourth-place finishes in between suggesting the horse stays involved even when it doesn't take the spoils. The one blank in that sequence is worth noting but hardly tells the whole story.

Behind all of this is trainer G. M. Lyons, operating out of Dunsany in County Meath — a yard that has already sent out 49 winners this season alone. That kind of output doesn't happen by accident. It reflects a training operation that knows how to place horses in races they can win and keep them coming forward. For a three-year-old to be thriving under that sort of management, with a win recorded literally days ago, is a genuinely encouraging sign of where things are headed.
