Windsor is not a track associated with jumps racing in the minds of most people, which makes it a slightly unexpected venue for a breakthrough, but Hold Up La Colmine handled it in what Pritchard called "nice fashion." His first win had come at Sedgefield back in March 2023, so this was only his second career victory across more than two and a half years of racing — a reminder of how fine the margins can be at this level.

He typically competes at Class 4, which sits in the middle tier of British racing — competitive enough that winning is genuinely difficult, but not the very top table.
