That single outing tells us almost nothing about what this two-year-old might become — a debut race is more about learning than proving anything — but it does confirm the horse is active and being aimed at races by Ollie Pears, a trainer at Norton in North Yorkshire who has already sent out nine winners this season. With so little to go on, Hidden Army remains entirely unknown, a blank canvas waiting for a second race to give us any real sense of whether there is genuine ability underneath.
