Here I Bow

Trained by Oli Rix at Newmarket, the horse is part of a yard that has sent out three winners already this season. For a relatively small operation, that's a solid return, though Here I Bow has not yet been the one to deliver a success. At this stage in a young horse's career, wins matter — they build confidence and help identify what a horse is genuinely capable of. Five races is not a huge sample, but zero wins and zero places is a clear statement that Here I Bow has not yet found a race it can win or even get into a frame position at.

What comes next will tell the story. Whether Here I Bow can break through for that first win, or whether it will gradually move down the racing ladder into easier company where a win becomes achievable, remains to be seen.
