Those two wins are worth looking at more closely, though. The first came at Wolverhampton in January 2025, and the second at Leicester in May 2025 — and it's the Leicester win that stands out, because it came over a mile and three to four furlongs, the distance range where Hawa Jumeirah is clearly at her most dangerous. At that trip she has won 1 from 6 races, a 17% win rate, which doesn't sound eye-catching until you compare it to her record everywhere else. Distance matters enormously in racing, and this horse has a sweet spot.

She races almost exclusively at Class 6, which is the entry level of British flat racing — the kind of races where horses are competing to find their level rather than chasing glory. She has won 2 of her 15 starts at that level, roughly 1 in every 7 or 8, which is a decent enough return at the grade she is suited to.

The recent form, however, is a concern. Her last six results read 5-5-6-7-6 — consistently mid-pack, never threatening the front. She has not won in any of those six races, and her last victory was at Leicester back in May 2025, now twelve months ago. That kind of drought at this level suggests she may need things to fall exactly right — the right distance, the right day — to get her head back in front. She raced just one day ago, so the yard are keeping her busy and clearly believe there is another win in her somewhere.
