Havanita

Trained by Patrick Chamings at Baughurst in Hampshire, Havanita competes in Class 5 races, the bottom rung of Britain's racing ladder, where she has run three times without winning. The yard itself has been reasonably productive this season, sending out nine winners, so the problem is not obvious neglect. Still, after nine races with nothing to show, patience is wearing thin. Havanita continues to race—she was out just a day ago—which at least suggests her trainer believes there is still hope of finding a race suited to her abilities, or that she will improve with time. For now, though, she remains a horse searching for her moment.
