Trained by W J Knight at Newmarket, Havana Court is in a yard that has been producing winners regularly this season, with 28 victories so far. That's a sign the training operation knows what it's doing, even if this particular horse hasn't yet clicked into gear. At just two years old, there's plenty of time ahead, and early exposure to racing without immediate success is far from unusual at that age. The fact that it was back on the track just a day after that latest eighth-place finish shows the yard isn't afraid to keep running it, which suggests they see something worth developing.
