What's encouraging is that two of those three recent losses came with second-place finishes sandwiched either side — the form is not broken, just stalled. Trained by John and Thady Gosden at their Newmarket yard, a powerhouse operation that has already sent out 140 winners this season, Harmonics has access to world-class facilities and proven handlers. The fact that it has won at two different tracks and finished in the frame in four of five races suggests the horse has the physical tools to compete. Whether it can rediscover the consistency that produced those two wins in quick succession remains the question. Raced just yesterday, Harmonics is clearly active and being campaigned regularly by a yard that knows what it is doing — which means the yard believe there is more to come.
