Wolverhampton is an all-weather oval, run under floodlights, with a tight bend that suits horses who travel smoothly and switch off early. Hannah's Return clearly reads it well, and that is where her career began in December 2022. Finding a track you keep returning to and keep winning at is something only a small number of horses manage.

Her partnership with jockey Taylor Fisher is another thing that stands out. Together they have won 4 of their 7 races — that is winning more than half the time they team up, which is a remarkable ratio in a sport where even the very best combinations win less than a third of their races.
