Trained by Martin Dunne at Newmarket, Hakin Adraar is part of a yard that has had a respectable season, sending out twenty winners. That suggests the trainer knows how to get horses to the line, even if this particular one hasn't quite clicked yet. Having raced just yesterday shows the horse is active and getting regular opportunities, which is important—sometimes a young horse simply needs time and more miles on the clock to mature. At three years old, there is still time for it to find its level and break through, though ten races without a victory is starting to feel like a pattern rather than bad luck. For now, Hakin Adraar remains a work in progress.
