The recent form figures tell an up-and-down story: a second place is sandwiched between a fourteenth and a fourth, which suggests a horse that can occasionally run well but hasn't found any real consistency yet. Second is encouraging, fourteenth less so — it's the kind of profile that says potential is there, but something hasn't quite clicked. With a race just yesterday, Golden Sanjida is right in the thick of its season.

The horse is trained by Noel Williams, who operates out of Blewbury in Oxfordshire. It's a small yard rather than a powerhouse operation — two winners so far this season gives you a sense of the scale — but small yards can and do produce winners, and Williams clearly keeps his horses active. Whether Golden Sanjida can become one of those winners before the season is out remains to be seen.
