At 5 to 6½ furlongs, she has won 1 from 6 races — roughly 1 in 6 at her best trip — which tells you she is competitive at that range even if the wins haven't stacked up. The Pontefract victory was almost nine months ago now, and her recent form reads 4-3-2-9-3-4, which is a mixed picture: she keeps finding her way into the frame but hasn't quite kicked on and won again.

The tougher ask has been at Class 2 level — among the better races in Britain — where she has run 3 times without winning, a 0 from 3 record that suggests the step up in class stretches her. That's not unusual for a three-year-old still finding her feet, but it does mean the question for Fell's team is whether to drop her back to easier company and get her winning again, or keep testing her at the higher level in hopes she improves into it. At her age, there's every reason to think she still has more to offer.
