The horse also shows a genuine preference for slightly soft or muddy ground, winning two of three races on that surface, and Tim Easterby's yard at Great Habton, which has sent out 128 winners this season, clearly has faith. Whether Go Vince Go can build on its recent Hamilton win and string together some consistency remains the question, but on its day and at its preferred track, it is clearly capable of winning races at the top end of Class 2.
