That sole win came at Lingfield Park in September 2025, and the recent form figure of 6-3-1 tells an interesting story on its own — read right to left, it shows a winner that has since finished third and then sixth, suggesting Gizmo may still be finding its level or simply had a couple of tougher days since that career highlight. With a race just yesterday, this is very much a horse in active campaign.

Behind the scenes, Gizmo is in good hands. Trainer Michael Bell operates out of Newmarket, one of the heartlands of British racing, and his yard has sent out 45 winners already this season — a busy, well-functioning operation that clearly knows how to get horses to the track in form. For a young horse still figuring things out, being part of a yard firing on all cylinders is no small advantage.
