Give Me A Bow is a 2-year-old still finding its feet in the racing game. The horse has run twice so far without getting on the board, finishing seventh most recently and sixth before that. At this age and stage, that is hardly unusual — plenty of young horses need time to work out what racing is about, and two runs does not tell you much.
William Stone's yard at West Wickham has been sending out winners this season, so there is clearly competence in the corner. Give Me A Bow remains actively racing, which suggests the team believes there is something there to work with. Whether that belief pays off will become clearer over the coming months as the horse gains more experience.
