He is a horse who more than holds his own without quite dominating, which is why the small details — the ground, the track, the jockey — matter so much with him.

Those details point in clear directions. On very wet, muddy ground he has won two of his three races, a two-in-three rate that marks him out as a genuine mud-lover, the sort of horse that improves dramatically when the weather turns nasty. His trainer has been explicit about it: he needs soft ground and three miles to show his best. The yard also feels he is built for fences and should improve further as he gets more experience jumping them — which, given he is already four wins into his career, is an encouraging thing to hear.

His most recent win came at Doncaster in December 2025, and he has been placed twice in his last six outings since, suggesting he remains in decent form even if the wins have not followed.
